CCTI MEETINGS & EVENTS


Meetings scheduled throughout the year provide opportunities to become better informed about the issues and latest developments affecting this industry as well as opportunities to benefit from the collective expertise of industry peers.

ANNUAL MEETING

The Annual Meeting is held in the late spring (May or June) of each year at a resort location. This meeting is attended by industry colleagues from the
U.S. and countries worldwide.

Highlights of the Annual Meeting include speakers on topics pertinent to the industry, Executive Committee and Board of Directors Meetings, Associate Member Presentations and/or Table Top Trade Show, the Annual Golf Tournament, and special events and activities for members and their families.



FALL MEETING
The Fall Meeting is held in conjunction with the industry packaging show (Pack Expo) in October or November. The Fall Programs includes an Executive Committee Meeting, a Board of Directors Meeting, a Vendor Technical Subcommittee (VTS) meeting and/or an Independent Manufacturers Council (IMC) meeting, the Fall Reception and Dinner, and a General Session.


OPERATIONS MEETING
 

The Operations Meeting is a day and a half meeting held in Myrtle Beach, SC in the spring (late February or March).

Highlights of the Operations Meeting include the Technical Committee meetings, a meeting of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, a General Session focused on operational issues, management, sales, and marketing topics. The meeting also includes the Independent Manufacturers Council (IMC) meeting and a
Table Top Trade Show/Reception and Dinner.

 

COMMITTEE/COUNCIL MEETINGS




  • The Independent Manufacturers Council (IMC) usually meets during the Fall and Operations Meetings. The IMC is designed for all industry member companies with sales under $32 million. IMC-only members have the option of attending any of CCTI's meetings on a pay-per-event basis. For more information on this option, please contact CCTI (703.823.7234).


  • The Vendor Technical Subcommittee (VTS) meets each year during the Fall and/or Operations Meeting. The VTS, composed of Associate Member Representatives, addresses plant, production, and related issues and discusses remedies and solutions for common industry problems in relation to supplier products, services, and programs.
    Note:  The VTS will also hold workshops in various regions of the country as determined by CCTI.


  • The Composite Can and Tube Institute's General Counsel attends all meetings.
